On Tuesday, June 7, 2022, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal attended a commemoration ceremony on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Falkland Islands War held at the Speaker’s Court at the Palace of Westminster in London.
Thereafter, The Princess Royal attended a reception for Falkland Island war veterans.
On the afternoon of Wednesday, May 11, 2022, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall along with Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent, and Their Royal Highnesses Prince and Princess Michael of Kent attended the Not Forgotten Association Annual Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.
The Not Forgotten Association is a charity for serving wounded, injured, or sick and for ex-servicemen and women with disabilities. The Princess Royal is the Patron of the Not Forgotten Association and served as host as it was recently announced that Her Majesty The Queen will not be attending any of this year’s royal garden parties.
On Tuesday, April 5, 2022, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence attended a special service in remembrance of the 40th anniversary of the liberation of the Falkland Islands at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.
