H.R.H. Prince William of Wales and Miss Catherine Middleton in Lancashire, England

On April 11, 2011,  H.R.H. Prince William of Wales and his fiancée, Catherine Middleton, decided to make one last official appearance together before they tie the knot at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011.

So what did they do?  Where did they go?  Well, the couple, along with their bodyguards and other VIPS, were in Lancashire to officially open the new school, Darwen Aldridge Community Academy.   Even though it was raining the couple were in good spirits meeting the students as well as the hundreds of onlookers who cheered the couple on as they made their way through the handshaking thingy line (gawd, I hope that made sense.)

Anyway…

A Documentary About Charlene Wittstock and Miss Catherine Middleton

There is a semi-new documentary about the future Princess of Monaco, Charlene Wittstock, and the future Queen of England, Catherine Middleton, that perhaps some of you have may never seen.

La Monarchie: Le Fabuleux Destin de Kate et Charlene recently aired on French television and now it is available on Daily Motion. Unfortunately, the French commentator, Stéphane Bern (yeah, he’s a total tool, a wannabe Historian, and a brown noser from Hell), is apart of the series.  Barf.  Any way, please click the link to watch: Part One (begins at the 4:24 mark) and Part Two

The series is quite interesting so enjoy!   🙂

Also, there is a nice radio interview with Charlene Wittstock from Talk Radio 702.co.za (South Africa).  Click to listen:  Interview with Charlene Wittstock

Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall and Catherine Middleton: Together at Last

No, they are not having an affair, but they did have lunch together on February 9, 2011.

According to the Richard Kay, a reporter from the Daily Mail, Britain’s future Queens dined at a new restaurant at the Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge.  Catherine wore her hideous trademark black suede books, beige blazer (another trademark… freaking blazers), black tights, a patterned dress, and a globs of black eyeliner (another trademark.)  While Camilla wore a purple plaid number that made everyone dizzy when they looked at her outfit.  Apparently, Catherine’s sister, Pippa, joined the cuddly lunch along with Camilla’s daughter, Laura.

It is unknown what the group talked about during their time together; however, according to the Daily Mail:

A fellow sitting just two tables away, tells me: ‘All four women were talking away like mad and none of the waiters could get a word in edgeways to serve their lunch.

I heard Camilla saying…  ‘if I can give you one bit of advice…’ Kate was really enjoying the moment.

‘I did hear talk of trumpets and someone said ‘we can’t have trumpets, the ceiling is too high’’, which may have been a reference to Westminster Abbey.’
