‘Iolani Palace in Search of Missing Items from the Hawaiian Royal Family

For many years now I’olani Palace, once the residence for the Hawaiian royal family, have been desperately searching for thousands of missing items that belonged to the Kings and Queens of Hawai’i.  According to the news site,  Hawai’i News Now, employees at I’olani Palace are:

…specifically targeting furnishings from the bedrooms of King Kalakaua and Queen Kapiolani. Thousands of items are still out there – either purchased a century ago at palace auctions, sold-off by the territorial and state governments, or handed down in families through the generations.

H.R.H. Princess Letizia of Asturias in Llucmajor, Mallorca, Spain

H.R.H. Princess Letizia of Asturias was in Llucmajor, Mallorca, Spain this afternoon to attend a meeting with the Handisport Foundation.

Per the Spanish magazine, Hola!:

…the Handisport Foundation, is a non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging and facilitating the social integration of disabled people through sport. The initiative of the Ministry of Tourism of the Govern de les Illes Balears, in collaboration with the Municipality of Calvia and Handisport Foundation, aims to raise awareness of the facilities of Mallorca for adapted sports such as golf, hiking among others.

After the meeting with Handisport Foundation, Princess Letizia visited an exhibition of sports adapted Maioris Golf Club in Llucmajor, Mallorca.

Prince Ernst August of Hanover in the Hospital While Princess Caroline of Hanover Holidays in Capri

According to the Spanish magazine, Hola!, H.R.H. Prince Ernst August of Hanover, was admitted to a local hospital in Ibiza, Spain Monday evening after experiencing intense stomach pains. Doctors believe the cause is acute pancreatitis.  To read the article from Hola! please click the link here.

Meanwhile his estranged wife, H.R.H. Princess Caroline of Hanover, is on holiday in Capri with the couple’s daughter, Princess Alexandra as well as Princess Caroline’s daughter from her marriage to the late Stefano Casiraghi, Charlotte.

Frederic, Prince von Anhalt: What a Guy!

While his wife, actress Zsa Zsa Gabor, spends her golden years bedridden in Los Angeles, CA, her strange husband the faux prince aka Frederic, Prince von Anhalt, continues to piss away her life savings on silly stuff.

So what did he do this time?  Well, he decided to purchase several billboards around Los Angeles to announce to the city that the couple have been happily married for 25 years.  Speaking with the gossip site, TMZ, the prince proudly exclaimed, “[I] spent $68,000 to erect this one 44 foot billboard for one month in the heart of Hollywood…”    

Meanwhile, poor Ms. Gabor continues to deteriorate.

T.S.H.s Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II of Monaco Visit Antiparos, Greece

Just one day after filing a lawsuit against the French newspaper, L’Express, for invasion of privacy and spreading false rumors, the princely couple of Monaco were already on holiday in the Greek Islands.

According to the online newspaper, Greek Reporter, Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II visited Antiparos, Greece to simply, well, chill, “They enjoyed walks along the amazing beaches of Antiparos and were polite to all on-looking admirers.” (source)

South African journalist, Clyde Meela, confirms the couple’s holiday in Greece in his latest article.  Apparently, the beautiful princess sent Mr. Meela an Email last Friday evening whereupon she noted, “…we are off to cruise the Greek Islands tomorrow for a couple of days…”

Fabulous.

The next event for Their Serene Highnesses Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II of Monaco will be the Monaco Red Cross Ball.

T.S.H.s Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II of Monaco Sue the French Newspaper, L’Express

Well, it happened.  Their Serene Highnesses Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II of Monaco went ahead and decided to sue the French newspaper, L’Express.

Per AFP news via ABC news:

Monaco’s Prince Albert II and his new wife Charlene have filed a suit against a French magazine they claim spread false rumours of discord ahead of their wedding this month, their lawyer confirmed.

Summons were filed against L’Express magazine at a court in Nanterre, west of Paris, for invasion of privacy and publishing ‘incorrect facts about their private life,’ lawyer Thierry Lacoste told AFP.

The magazine declined comment.
