(VIDEOS) TMs King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan Welcome the President of Germany to Amman.

On Monday, December 7, 2015, Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan welcomed the President of Germany, Mr. Joachim Gauck, and his partner, Ms. Daniela Schadt, to Al-Husseiniya Palace in Amman, Jordan.

The purpose of President Gauck and his delegation’s two-day official visit is to pay tribute to Jordanian society’s achievement in finding shelter for hundreds of thousands of refugees; furthermore, to continue to strengthen economic and bilateral ties between Jordan and Germany.

151207-Reise-Jordanien-1-MEAfter the official welcoming ceremony and the reviewing of the Jordanian military guards His Majesty King Abdullah II and President Gauck participated in a meeting inside the palace.  Discussions focused on the Syrian crisis, education, vocational training and water, as Germany is one of the countries that provide technical assistance to Jordan in the field of water resources management and conservation.

In the evening, Their Majesties hosted a gala dinner in honor of President Gauck and Ms. Schadt’s visit to Jordan.

(VIDEO) HM Queen Rania of Jordan Opens the 2nd Teacher Skills Forum.

On Sunday, December 6, 2015, Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan attended the 2nd Teacher Skills Forum held at the  King Hussein bin Talal Convention Center at the Dead Sea in southern Jordan.

The purpose of the Teacher Skills Forum is to address the needs of the educational sector in the Arab World.  The forum includes more than 70 sessions that focus on equipping teachers with applicable teaching practices and techniques as the forum aims to provide teachers with practical solutions to some of the challenges they may face in the classroom.  The forum also provides a unique platform for teachers and education professionals to exchange experiences and attend workshops delivered by experts in a new as well as innovative set-up.

 

HM King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands Visits a Wind Tunnel in Marknesse.

PrinceofOranjeOn Monday, December 7, 2015, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands visited the Stichting Duits-Nederlandse Windtunnels (DNW) and the Nederlands Lucht- en Ruimtevaartcentrum (NLR) wind tunnel in  Marknesse.   DNW is Europe’s most advanced and specialized organizations for wind tunnel testing. DNW’s eleven wind tunnels include subsonic, transonic and supersonic facilities, and provide experimental aerodynamic simulation capabilities to the user community at large.

During today’s visit His Majesty was given a tour of the wind tunnel facility and met with engineers as well as representatives from NLR and DMW.  Thereafter, His Majesty participated in a roundtable discussion with “…representatives from the Dutch Ministry of Economy, the trade association of the aerospace sector NAG, Fokker, engineering and ADSE KVE Composites Group…” according to RVD.

HRH Princess Caroline of Hanover Participates in a Symposium in Monaco.

On November 23, 2015, Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover, as President of AMADE Mondiale, participated in a symposium held under the theme, L’adoption Nationale et Internationale, in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.

Last month’s meeting was organized by the Gouvernement Princier Département des Relations and Coopération.

On Friday, December 4, 2015, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands hosted a luncheon at Paleis Noordeinde in Den Haag.

This afternoon’s gathering was held for 26 outstanding Dutch individuals who recently:

“…received a prize or other award for their achievements in areas of art, culture, media and journalism, science and business. [Their Majesties] wanted to offer a luncheon to express their appreciation for the people who have made such an extraordinary achievement.”

HM King Felipe VI of Spain Visits the New Headquarters of the Military Orders.

On Thursday, December 3, 2015, His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain visited the new headquarters of the Cancillería de las Reales y Militares Órdenes de San Fernando y San Hermenegildo at the San Hermenegildo Chancellory in Madrid, Spain.
