Royal News Regarding Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of Belgium.

On September 17, 2012, His Royal Highness Prince Philippe of Belgium was at the Square Brussels Meeting Center in Brussels to participate in an “…academic session organized by the Fédération des Entreprises de Belgique Forum 2012 in honour of Mr Rudi Thomaes and Pieter Timmermans. Mr Timmermans succeeded Mr. Thomaes as Managing Director of the FEB.”

Meanwhile, Her Royal Highness Princess Mathilde was at the Collège Saint-Hubert in Watermael-Boitsfort to participate in a roundtable discussion regarding the “…problems of literacy as well as reading and writing in Europe.  The debate takes place in light of a recent publication by the European Commission and a new report from a group of high level literacy experts.”

On September 17, 2012, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia of Asturias were in Fuensalida, Toledo, to attend the opening of the 2012/2013 academic school year and scholarship course at the Tomás Romojaro school.

During today’s event the prince gave a speech noting the “… serious and worrying increase in the number of young people who do not study and the importance of receiving an education…” 

Her Royal Highness Princess Maxima of the Netherlands Attends the 5th Anniversary Celebrations of ‘Women on Wings’.

On Monday, September 17, 2012, Her Royal Highness Princess Maxima of the Netherlands attended the 5th anniversary celebrations of Women on Wings (WoW) in Austerlitz.

The WoW organization, founded in 2007 by Ms. Ellen Tacoma and Ms. Maria van der Heijden, supports:

“… Indian entrepreneurs with expertise in the areas of management, finance, organization and marketing their products to better sell.”

During today’s celebrations Princess Maxima revealed, “…the number of jobs that Women on Wings has realized over the past five years.”
