On November 7, 2012, Their Imperial Highnesses Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako of Japan along with their daughter, Princess Aiko,visited Shiosai Park in Hayama. The lovely family is currently on a brief holiday.

In other news, Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover is going to be a grandmother. Ms. Tatiana Santo Domingo, fiancée of Mr. Andrea Casiraghi (eldest son of Princess Caroline), confirmed that she is six months pregnant.

Ms. Santo Domingo was at the Telva Fashion Awards in Madrid last evening when she confirmed her pregnancy to a journalist from the Spanish newspaper, La Voz Libre. The baby is due sometime in late January 2013. Ms. Santo Domingo and Mr. Casiraghi will marry sometime in 2013. Congrats to the couple! 🙂

On November 7, 2012, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco visited Istanbul, Turkey where he participated in a meeting with members of the Chambers of Economic Development and representatives from his delegation.

During the luncheon meeting the sovereign prince gave a speech noting the importance of “… economic and commercial relations…” between Monaco and Turkey.

Afterward, Prince Albert II visited Boğaziçi University where he gave a speech regarding the environment stating, “Climate change is a reality, it is not an inevitability…” Following his speech Prince Albert along with hundreds of Boğaziçi University students and faculty attended a reception organized “… in the prince’s honor…”

This two-day meeting was organized by the “… Foundation Child & Youth Finance International in collaboration with the FSMA, the European Association of Co-operative Banks, the European Banking Federation, and World Savings Banks Institute (WSBI).”
