On the evening of February 4, 2013, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden attended the 2013 QX Gaygalan held at the Cirkus in Stockholm. During the gala ceremony the future Queen of Sweden presented the 2013 Årets Homo Award to author and artist, Mr. Jonas Gardell.
Her Royal Highness Princess Mathilde of Belgium Attends the Presentation of the Film, Kinshasa Kids.
On the evening of February 5, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Mathilde of Belgium, in her capacity as Honorary President of UNICEF Belgium, attended the film presentation of Mr. Marc-Henri Wajnberg’s film, Kinshasa Kids, held at the Cinéma Vendôme in Brussels.
According to the Hollywood Reporter and Film Linc, Kinshasa Kids is about:
“… a group of street kids—kicked out of their homes for being “witch children”—in the titular Congolese capital. These ever-resourceful youngsters decide to form a band and team up with Bebson, an eccentric impresario and one-time recording star… Completely devoid of sentimentality and condescension, Kinshasa Kids celebrates and honors both the resilience of its young protagonists and the chaotic city in which they live.”

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Opens the New MRI Unit at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
On February 5, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II opened the new MRI Unit at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, England. During today’s event, Her Majesty toured the facility as well as met with staff.

His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain in Valladolid. (VIDEOS)
His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain was in Valladolid on February 5, 2013, to visit the Renault car manufacturing factory. The purpose of his visit was to celebrate the “…60th anniversary of the production of the 4CV…” according to the Spanish royal court. His Majesty also inaugurated the “…production line of the new model, Captur.”
During today’s tour His Majesty unveiled a commemorative plaque as well as met with representatives of Renault and factory workers.

Her Royal Highness Princess Letizia of Asturias Participates in a Meeting with the Federación Española de Enfermedades Raras.
On February 5, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Letizia of Asturias was in Madrid to participate in a meeting with representatives from the Federación Española de Enfermedades Raras (FEDER).
According to the Spanish royal court the Federación Española de Enfermedades Raras works closely with:
“…families and patients living with rare diseases. Through projects and services the FEDER helps to improve their quality of life in the short, medium and long term, in a society in which people with rare disease have the same opportunities in life as the rest, regardless of the rarity of this disease.”

His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje in Rotterdam.
On the morning of February 5, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje visited the Centrum Voor Dienstverlening (CVD) to meet with participants of the program, Real Men.
According to RVD, Real Men is:
“… an employment program for socially-isolated men, organized by the Centre for Services (CVD). Participants of Real Men are often socially isolated, unemployed, have debts or dealing with addiction. The purpose of the six-month process of Genuine Men’s underlying problems, their own talents to tap and the men again prospect through structural and meaningful activities. This is done through weekly group meetings, trainings and workshops. Yet during or immediately after starting the program group participants volunteering”
During his visit the future King of the Netherlands met with participants of this important program as well as organizers and staff of Real Men.
