On Sunday, February 10, 2013, His Majesty King Abdullah of Jordan attended the opening of the first “… non-ordinary session of the 17th Jordanian Parliament…” in Amman.
During today’s opening His Majesty gave a speech noting that he “…seeks to reach a consensus with the newly elected parliament before naming a prime minister, and hailed the historic transformation towards parliamentary government in Jordan.”

While Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco spends a lovely and relaxing holiday in St. Barts with her friends His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco is currently in Rio de Janeiro, Brazilhaving a blast. His timing could not have been better. Why? Well, it is Carnival! 🙂
Any way, on Friday, February 8, 2013, the sovereign prince visited the Casa do Menor São Miguel Arcanjo, a charity for at risk children. Afterwards, the fun-loving prince danced with the locals and generally had a fabulous time.
On Saturday, February 9, 2013, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal was at the Dreghorn Barracks in Edinburgh to met with “…members of the Royal Scots Boarders…” and their families.

Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover visited the Musée d’Archéologie Préhistorique to view the new exhibit entitled,A la Conquête du Feu, on February 8, 2013.
Per the Palais Princier:
“The Musée d’Archéologie Préhistorique presents its new exhibition, A la Conquête du Feu, in partnership with the Musée d’Archéologie de Nice. Using both historical and technical, through the use of panels, objects, and a documentary film the public will discover the origins of the fire in its role both in social and cultural cohesion of a group of people and the tools used from prehistory to today.”
