News Regarding TRHs The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

WilliamandKateOn April 26, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales will attend the opening of Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden.

Per a press release:

“During the first part of the studio tour, The Duke and Duchess and Prince Harry will meet some of the creative teams from recent Warner Bros. Productions. They will be given an insight into the film making process and shown some of the props and costumes from those films. The Duke and Duchess and Prince Harry will then attend the official inauguration of Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, during which The Duke of Cambridge will deliver a short speech.

Following the inauguration, Their Royal Highnesses will undertake a tour of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, based on the same site, where they will view props, costumes and models from the Harry Potter film series. The tour will include: a visit to the Great Hall; a wand lesson in The Gryffindor Common Room; and a special effects demonstration on Diagon Alley. 

The visit will conclude with The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry hosting a meeting for their Charities Forum in the Great Hall.”

News Regarding HRH Prince Harry of Wales.

CaptainWalesOn April 25, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales will be in Nottingham to visit to important organizations.  The prince will visit the brain injury association, Headway, where he will open the association’s new headquarters.

Prince Harry will also visit the Russell Youth Club and the Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies.

News Regarding Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan. (VIDEO)

On April 12, 2013, Their Imperial Highnesses Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan attended a charity ball in Minato-ku, Tokyo to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the International Ladies Benevolent Society. This is the first time in 20 years that the emperor and empress have danced in public according to various sources.  It is also being reported that the emperor and empress practiced the waltz and tango at the palace just days before charity ball.  Aw… they are just too cute.   🙂

And, finally, earlier this week the imperial couple “…watched a Kabuki performance at the new Kabukiza Theater in Tokyo.”

His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden Presents Scholarships.

HMCGOn April 11, 2013, His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden presented scholarships to Ms. Emilie Blondin Köhler, Mr. Farid Nolen and Ms. Julia Kalthoff during the Ungt Ledarskap Seminar held at the royal palace in Stockholm.  These scholarships are “…awarded annually by the Stiftelse Ungt Ledarskap and are given to those who have demonstrated courage, compassion, drive and leadership skills.”

Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands Attends a Concert in Celebration of the 300th Anniversary of the Treaty of Utrecht. (VIDEOS)

On April 11, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands attended a concert entitled, Perpetual Peace, held at the Domkerk in Utrecht.  The purpose of the concert is to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the Treaty of Utrecht.

Tonight’s performance included works by Georg Friedrich Händel, Johann Sebastian Bach, and William Croft to name a few.

happyOn April 12, 2003, His Royal Highness Prince Laurent of Belgium married Ms. Claire Louise Combs at the Cathédrale Saints-Michel-et-Gudule in Brussels, Belgium.  Anyway, in honor of the royal couple’s 10th wedding anniversary the Belgian program, Place Royale, uploaded several videos about the royal couple’s happy day all those years ago.
