News Regarding Members of the Princely Family of Monaco.

StephanieofMonacoEarlier this week Her Serene Highness Princess Stephanie of Monaco welcomed a kind journalist from the French magazine, Pure People, to Roc Agel — the French country home of the members of the Princely family — to get an update regarding the princess’s sweet new elephants, Baby and Nepal.

As you may know by now Princess Stephanie rescued Baby and Nepal from the Tete d’Or Zoo in Lyon, France earlier this year. The two elephants were destined to be put down after government officials in Lyon believed they were infected with Tuberculosis.

After an international outcry from dozens of animal rights groups, who believed the two beautiful elephants could be saved, Princess Stephanie offered to take them in.  Today, Baby and Nepal are living in a “…38,000 square foot enclosure with a huge wooden shelter and a pool from them to drink from and cool off in…” at Roc Agel.

During the interview Princess Stephanie noted that the elephants are doing quite well and that they are “…six tons of happiness…”

And, finally, on August 19, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco were in Paroldo, Italy, to attend a concert of “…soloists of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monaco…” according to the Palais Princier.

Prior to the concert the princely couple met with Mayor of Paroldo, Mr. Pier Carlo-Adami, who made Prince Albert II an honorary citizen of Paroldo.
