On Sunday, September 8, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan met with members of the program, I am Proud to be a Teacher, according to Petra News.

In other news, it was announced that His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan will visit Beijing, China next week where he will meet with President Xi Jinping to discuss the latest developments in the Middle East, the ongoing crisis in Syria, and ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Jordan and China.  Thereafter, His Majesty will travel to New York City where he will give a speech during the 68th Session of the United Nations General Assembly regarding the Syrian crisis and much more.

HRH Prince Daniel of Sweden Attends the 1st Edition of Idrottens Dag. (VIDEO)

danielOn Sunday, September 8, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Daniel of Sweden arrived at Haga Park in Stockholm to attend the 1st Edition of Idrottens Dag (Sports Day) and Prins Daniel’s Lopp (Prince Daniel’s Race).

According to the Swedish royal court the purpose of today’s event:

“…is to attract more young people to the sport and to highlight the importance of adolescent health. Prince Daniel’s Race and Sport Day is an initiative of Prince Daniel in collaboration with the Swedish Sports Confederation. Prince Daniel’s Race is aimed [toward] children ages 6-12 years old.”

TMs King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden Attend the 2013 Stockholm Water Prize Award Ceremony.

swedenOn the evening of September 5, 2013, Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden arrived at the Stockholm Stadhus to attend the 2013 Stockholm Water Prize Award Ceremony.

During last evening’s gala event His Majesty presented the prize to Dr. Peter Morgan for “…his life-long work to protect the health and lives of millions of people through improved water and sanitation technologies…” according to the newspaper, The Herald.

Her Royal Highness Princess Claire of Belgium Attends the 50th Concours International de Roses Nouvelles.

belgiumOn September 6, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Claire of Belgium attended the 50th Edition of the Concours International de Roses Nouvelles held at the Ancien Hôpital St-Jacques, Rœulx.

During today’s event the lovely princess baptized a new rose named, Princesse Claire de Belgique.

TMs King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium Visit Leuven. (VIDEOS)

BelgiumPMOn Friday, September 6, 2013, Their Majesties King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium arrived in the capital of the province Flemish Brabant, Leuven, to begin their one-day visit.

According to the Belgian royal court the purpose of today’s event is to meet with local citizens, government officials as well as to “…visit various social, cultural [sites], and attend a working luncheon devoted to two thematic priorities for the province…”

Anyway, upon their arrival to the Leuven Town Hall Their Majesties were warmly welcomed by thousands of locals and the Mayor of Leuven, Mr. Louis Tobback, as well as the Governor of Flemish Brabant, Mr. Lodewijk De Witte.  After formal greetings King Philippe and Queen Mathilde attended at reception and luncheon held in their honor, attended a concert/recital, and much more.
