TMs King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium Visit Mons. (VIDEOS)

On the morning of Tuesday, September 17, 2013, Their Majesties King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium arrived in the city of Mons in the province of Hainaut for a one-day visit.

Upon their arrival Their Majesties were greeted with cheers and applause from thousands of people who came out to catch a glimpse of their new king and queen.  After receiving formal greetings from various local government officials Their Majesties attended a reception and luncheon held in their honor, participated in a walkabout through the city and much more.

HRH Prince Félix of Luxembourg Finally Marries. (VIDEO)

On September 17, 2013, at Villa Rothschild Kempinski in Königstein im Taunus, Germany, His Royal Highness Prince Félix of Luxembourg finally married his longtime love, Miss Claire Lademacher, in front of close family and friends.

News Regarding TMs King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands. (VIDEOS)

On Tuesday, September 17, 2013, Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands arrived at the Ridderzaal in Den Haag to attend the 2013 Prinsjesdag.

During today’s important event His Majesty delivered a speech in front of members of the Dutch government highlighting the “…main plans [budget and policies] of the government for the coming year…” according to RVD.

Thereafter, Their Majesties and Their Royal Highnesses rode back to the Paleis Noordeinde where the royal family appeared on the balcony to wave to the thousands of people who came out to wish them well.

HRH Prince Harry of Wales Preps For His South Pole Trek. (VIDEOS)

harrsIn preparation for his upcoming South Pole trek with the Walking With the Wounded charity later this year, His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales spent “…20 hours in [a] cold chamber (freezer) at Mira in Nuneaton…where temperatures dropped as low as minus 55c with wind chill…”  according to Clarence House.

News Regarding Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.

drf-coaAfter a fun-filled day playing on the beach during the 2013 KIA Cold Hawaii Professional Windsurf Association (PWA) World Cup pre-events in Klitmøller, northern Denmark, on Sunday His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark is back to doing the usual boring old work.

So what did he do today?  Well, he was in Aalborg where he had the pleasure of opening the State of Green Water Tours Visitors Service according to the Danish royal court.  The crown prince also visited several water technology companies where he hung out with a bunch of really cool people, looked at stuff, played with various thingamabobs, etc, etc, etc.   🙂

Meanwhile, at Frederik VIII’s Palace in Copenhagen, the lovely Crown Princess Mary of Denmark met with various recipients of the Crown Princess Mary Scholarship.

Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain Opens an Exhibit at the Palacio Real de Madrid. (VIDEO)

Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain was at the Palacio Real de Madrid this afternoon to inaugurate the exhibit entitled, De El Bosco a Tiziano: Arte y Maravilla en El Escorial.

The exhibit displays works by various artists including the late Alonso Sánchez Coello and Joachim Patinir to name a few.
