On October 10, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II met with Their Majesties King Tupou VI and Queen Nanasipau’u of Tonga at Buckingham Palace in London.
According to the Tongan newspaper, Matangi, Their Majesties “…are currently visiting the city in preparation for Tupou VI’s coronation next year. They are scheduled to return to Tonga on October 30.”
On the morning of October 10, 2013, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark accompanied by the Danish Minister for Development Cooperation, Mr. Christian Friis Bach, participated in a meeting at Christiansborg Slot with members of the Parliamentary Intergroup Network for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights.
Meanwhile, in Vilnius, Lithuania His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark accompanied by the Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Building, Mr. Martin Lidegaard, wrapped up their three-day visit to the Baltic county.
This morning the crown prince and Mr. Lidegaard attended a business brunch hosted by the President of Lithuania, Ms. DaliaGrybauskaite , at the Presidential Palace.
Thereafter, Crown Prince Frederik and Mr. Lidegaard attended the opening of Danish Days held at the Panorama shopping center in Vilnius. Whilst there they mingled with various officials, dined on delicious food, checked out the Lego play area, and much more.
Well, it has been a couple of months since Her Serene Highness Princess Stephanie of Monaco’s two rescued Elephants, Baby and Nepal, arrived from the Tete d’Or Zoo in Lyon, France to their new home at Roc Agel. As you may or may not know Baby and Nepal were destined to be put down earlier this year after government officials in Lyon believed they were infected with Tuberculosis.
Anyway, the princess recently spoke to the press about these beautiful creatures and she is happy to report that they are thriving in their new home. Baby and Nepal were recently examined and thankfully they are in good health, “…all examinations were negative.” Yay!

On Thursday, October 10, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco arrived at the Università degli Studi di Siena in Italy to participate in the conference entitled, The Mediterranean Sea: Biodiversity and Increasing Pollution. What’s Next?
During today’s meeting the sovereign prince, who is a member of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network Leadership Council, gave a speech under the themes biodiversity and sustainability.
