The funeral service took place “…at Mandela’s family homestead in the village of Qunu in the Eastern Cape…” according to the Associated Press.
The late Mr. Nelson Mandela died on December 5, 2013, at his home in Houghton, Johannesburg, South Africa at the age of 95.
On December 15, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark accompanied by their four children arrived at the Esajas Kirke in Copenhagen to attend a Christmas concert performed by the Danske Musikkonservatoriums Børnekors (Royal Danish Academy of Music Children’s Choir).
