His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium Visits the Musée Juif de Belgique. (VIDEO)

BelgiumSecurity was on high alert this morning, Friday, November 7, 2014, as His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium visited the Musée Juif de Belgique (Jewish Museum of Belgium) in Brussels.

Last May 24, a crazed gunman from Marseille, France, stormed the Musée Juif de Belgique killing four innocent people. In a statement released by the Belgian royal court immediately after the horrific event, His Majesty noted that he was “…shocked to learn that the shooting took place this afternoon at the Jewish Museum of Belgium. He extends his condolences to the relatives of the victims. The King is outraged by this act of violence that affects very much the Jewish community “

During today’s visit His Majesty met with employees and was given a tour of the museum’s various exhibitions by its president, Mr. Philippe Blondin.

Their Royal Highnesses The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry of Wales Host a Reception at Buckingham Palace. (VIDEO)

On the evening of Thursday, November 6, 2014, His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge and His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II hosted the Recovery Pathway Reception at Buckingham Palace in London, England.

The reception was held “…to recognize military and civilian professionals who have helped British servicemen and women that have suffered physical or psychological injuries to return to duty or make a successful transition in to civilian life.”

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco Receives an Honorary Doctorate from the Università degli Studi di Genova. (VIDEO)


Last month — October 24, 2014, to be exact — His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Marine Science from the Università degli Studi di Genova (University of Genoa) in Genoa, Italy.

The sovereign prince received his Honorary Doctorate during the Lectio Magistralis (a scholarly lecture) entitled, The Mediterranean and its Environmental Conditions Between Hopes and Concerns.

His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain Opens an Exhibition in Madrid. (VIDEO)

On November 5, 2014, His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain opened the exhibition, Maestros Flamencos y Holandeses, at the Museo Carlos de Amberes in Madrid, Spain.

According to Artnet News, the exhibition contains:

“…40 Flemish masterpieces, [which] has been assembled by securing loans from several other European institutions. The Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp, closed until 2017 due to renovation, has loaned an astounding 21 works. They include important paintings by Rubens, Anthony van Dyck, Jacob Jordaens, Bernard van Orley, David Teniers II, and Michaelina Wautier, one of the very few female Flemish painters of the period.”

On Thursday, November 6, 2014, His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain visited the Mando de Operaciones (MOPS), in Madrid, Spain.  The agency is a “…operational structure, subordinate to the Chief of the Defense Staff and [is] responsible for conducting operational planning and driving as well as the monitoring of operational plans and operations military as assigned…” according to the Spanish royal court.
