On Monday, November 10, 2014, Their Majesties King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain arrived at the Juan Valera Pavillion in Bullas, Spain, to attend a memorial service for the victims of Sunday’s bus accident.
According to AFP News, fourteen people died “…after their bus fell 15 meters from the Calasparra Road.The travelers were returning from Madrid to the Murcian town of Bullas after attending a religious ceremony at the Convent of the Barefoot Carmelites.”

During today’s opening ceremony Crown Prince Naruhito gave a speech in which he noted:
“On our earth today, along with economic growth and increasing populations, we are also witnessing the advancing change of climate, loss of biodiversity, depletion of natural resources, increases in poverty and other problems. For our children and theirs, we have three important tasks: protecting the Earth’s environment, which is the wellspring for ensuring lives abundant with blessings, treasuring the Earth’s limited resources, and achieving sustainable development.”
On Sunday, November 9, 2014, Their Majesties King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium attended the Thousand Voices for Peace concert held at the Basilique Nationale du Sacré-Cœur in Brussels.The concert, organized by the Festival van Vlaanderen, was held in commemoration of World War I.

On Sunday, November 9, 2014, His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales along with members of the British armed forces attended Remembrance Sunday service at Kandahar Airfield in Kandahar, Afghanistan.
According to ITV News, during today’s service the prince “…laid a personal wreath and gave a reading before lining up with fellow servicemen and women for The Last Post and Reveille played by musicians from the Royal Artillery Band.”
