On Sunday, July 5, 2015, Their Imperial Highnesses Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako of Japan met with Japanese residents living in Nuku’alofa, Tonga.
Yesterday, the imperial couple attended the coronation of His Majesty King George Tupou VI of Tonga.
On Sunday, July 5, 2015, Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge was christened at the St. Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. The only daughter of TRHs The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge was christened by The Archbishop of Canterbury, The Most Rev Justin Welby, with support by The Reverend Canon Jonathan Riviere.
Twenty-one guests attended this afternoon’s ceremony including Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, TRHs the Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Middleton, Miss Pippa Middleton, and Mr. James Middleton to name a few.
The godparents of Princess Charlotte are Miss. Sophie Carter, The Honorable Laura Fellowes, Mr. James Meade, Mr. Adam Middleton, and Mr. Thomas van Straubenzee.
After the christening guests arrived at Sandringham House where The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge hosted a tea reception with delicious “…slices of christening cake, which is a tier taken from The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding cake…” according to Kensington Palace.
On Thursday, June 25, 2015, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco celebrated the 125th anniversary of the Automobile Club de Monaco at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte-Carlo.
According to a press release the Grimaldi forum was:
“…transformed for one evening in an Automobile Sport Museum. In the presence of Prince Albert II, the Minister of State Michel Roger and many representatives of the Monégasque Authorities, [the] party brought together nearly 4,000 members especially invited by the President of the ACM, Michel Boeri.”
On the morning of Saturday, July 4, 2015, the coronation of His Majesty King George Tupou VI of Tonga took place at the Free Wesleyan Centenary Church in Nuku’alofa. Once the crown was placed upon His Majesty’s head he officially became the 24th Tu’i Kanokupolu, an ancient Tongan title that pre-dates the monarchy by centuries.
Royal guests attending yesterday’s historic event included Their Imperial Highnesses Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako of Japan as well as “… Prince Georg von Habsburg and Princess Marie-Therese von Hohenberg…” according to AFP News. The news outlet also noted that more than “…15,000 people, mainly expatriate Tongans, flew in for the coronation…”

On July 2, 2015, His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium arrived at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Heverlee, Belgium to visit with postgraduate students enrolled in the course, Innovating Entrepreneurship in Engineering.
During this afternoon’s visit two teams — Punch Powertrain Solar Team and Formula Electric Belgium — introduced His Majesty to “…an electric race car and a vehicle on solar energy, developed by the students…” according to AFP News.
On Thursday, July 2, 2015, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall attended day four of the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships held at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London.
On July 1, 2015, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh hosted a lovely garden party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, Scotland.
