HRH Princess Madeleine of Sweden and Mr. Christopher O’Neill Attend the 2013 Royal Gala Award Dinner.

Sweden2On the evening of Wednesday, October 23, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Madeleine of Sweden and Mr. Christopher O’Neill arrived at the Apella Riverpark at the Alexandria Center in New York City to attend the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce 2013 Royal Gala Award Dinner.

His Royal Highness Prince Daniel of Sweden Visits Åland. (VIDEO)

DanielOn October 10, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Daniel of Sweden arrived in the town of Mariehamn on Åland for a one-day visit.  The purpose of the prince’s trip was to “…receive insight into [Åland’s] industry and society…” according to the Swedish royal court.

Anyway, upon his arrival Prince Daniel was warmly greeted to Åland by various government officials and VIPs.  Soon, the prince was off to visit the Parliament of Åland and tour the Ålands Sjöfartsmuseum (Maritime Museum).

Thereafter, the prince attended a business seminar with various young entrepreneurs held at the Alandica Culture and Congress, and then visited the technology company, Carus.

And, that’s it.   🙂

Royals From Sweden, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Netherlands Attend the IPC Honorary Board Meeting in Brussels.

Crown Princess Victoria of SwedenOn October 8, 2013, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, Her Royal Highness Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg,  Her Royal Highness Princess Margriet of the Netherlands, and Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid of Belgium, as host, attended International Paralympic Committee Honorary Board meeting held at the Palais Royal in Brussels.

According to the official website for the IPC, the royal ladies and other attendees were:

“…updated on the growth of the Paralympic Movement over the last two years and received further insight into the activities that surrounded the London 2012 Paralympic Games, as well those for future Paralympics.

Members were [also] informed about the IPC’s vision in the lead-up to the Sochi 2014 and Rio 2016 Games, as well as the Agitos Foundation, which is the IPC’s new development arm.”
