swedenOn the evening of December 19, 2013, Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden, His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden, and Her Royal Highness Princess Madeleine and Mr. Christopher O’Neill attended a gala performance at the Oscarsteatern in Stockholm in celebration of Her Majesty Queen Silvia’s upcoming 70th birthday on December 23.

HRH Princess Madeleine of Sweden Returns to Stockholm. (VIDEOS)

On Thursday, December 19, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Madeleine of Sweden arrived at the Royal Mews in Stockholm to present the Swedish Equestrian Federation’s scholarship to Swedish dressage rider, Ms. Paulinda Friberg.

This evening the princess along with Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden, His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden, and Mr. Christopher O’Neill will attend a gala performance at the Oscarsteatern (Oscar Theatre) in Stockholm in celebration of Her Majesty’s 70th birthday.

swedenOn December 18, 2013, Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden, and His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden attended a reception at the royal palace in Stockholm held on the occasion and ahead of Her Majesty’s 70th birthday.

News Regarding TRHs Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden.

vd-2011On the afternoon of December 17, 2013, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Estelle of Sweden met with “…the Royal College of Forestry’s student union for the presentation of Christmas trees…” according to the Swedish royal court.

Members of the Swedish Royal Family Attend the 2013 Kungens Middag.

Sweden1On the evening of December 11, 2013, Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden accompanied by Their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden and His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden attended the 2013 Kungens Middag (King’s Dinner) for the 2013 Nobel Prize Laureates.

The gala dinner was held inside the Karl XI’s Gallery at the royal palace in Stockholm.

On the evening of December 10, 2013, Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Daniel of Sweden and His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden attended the 2013 Nobel Prize ceremony held at the Stockholms Konserthus.

Here are the winners of the 2013 Nobel Prize:

The Nobel Prize in Literature went to Ms. Alice Munro

The Nobel Prize in Chemistry went to Mr. Martin Karplus, Mr. Michael Levitt, and Mr. Arieh Warshel.

The Nobel Prize in Physics went to Mr. François Englert and Mr. Peter W. Higgs.

The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine went to Mr. James E. Rothman, Mr. Randy Schekman and Mr. Thomas C. Südhof

The 2013 Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel went to Mr. Eugene F. Fama, Mr. Lars Peter Hansen and Mr. Robert J. Shiller

After the ceremony, the royal family, the Nobel Prize winners, and hundreds of guests attended the traditional Nobel Prize gala banquet held at the Stadshuset in Stockholm.
