On January 9, 2014, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway hosted the 2014 Vismennenes Dag: En Samling for Unge Ledere (Day of the Wise Men: A Seminar for Young Leaders) at Skaugum according to the Norwegian royal court.

On Wednesday, January 8, 2014, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway arrived at the Operahuset in Oslo to attend the 2014 Næringslivets Hovedorganisasjon (NHO) annual conference.
According to the official website for the NHO the organization is:
“…the leading voice of business and industry in Norway. Having expert knowledge and an extensive business network, the NHO plays an important and constructive role in the Norwegian society.
Our main objective is to create and sustain conditions that secure the competitiveness and profitability of business and industry, and thereby maintain the basis for a good standard of living, sound economic growth and sustainable development.”

On Friday, December 20, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Sonja of Norway visited the “…Salvation Army’s work training centre, Jobben, in Oslo…” according to the Norwegian royal court.
Established in 2005 Jobben provides job training for former drug addicts.
During today’s visit Her Majesty met with staff, volunteers, individuals participating in the Jobben program, toured a candle making as well as carpentry workshop and much more.
