News Regarding TSHs Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco.

On the evening of March 1, 2013, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended a charity gala dinner held inside the Salle Empire at the Hotel de Paris. The funds raised during last night’s event will be donated to the Fondation Princesse Charlene de Monaco.

And, finally, on March 26, 2013, a charity concert will be held at the Auditorium Rainier III in Monaco “…in favor of the Fondation Princesse Charlene de Monaco.  There will be performances by the Carabiniers du Prince and l’Orchestre de Jazz de l’Otan in collaboration with the Kiwanis Club de Monaco…”

On February 26, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco participated in the first meeting of the Comité Scientifique et Technique de la Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco.  The purpose of the meeting was to “…examine 19 new projects falling under the FPA’s three priority fields of activity and assess potential support for various new projects.”

After the meeting the sovereign prince received a check worth “…85,100 Euros representing the sales proceeds from operation ‘Save the Mediterranean Sea’.  The money will help towards funding the action implemented by the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco to protect the Mediterranean Sea…” according to a press release via the FPA.

Recently, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the opening of famed sculptor, Mr. Mateo Mornar, new art studio in Monaco.

According to the Palais Princier, Mr. Mornar works “…in collaboration with the Fondation Prince Albert II (FPA). Portions of money from the sale of his works are donated to the FPA.”

Mr. Mornar’s next exhibition will take place in Russia later this year.

News Regarding Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco.

PssCharleneTRCOn February 25, 2013, Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco sat front row at the Giorgio Armani 2013 Fall/Winter RTW collection in Milan, Italy.  The princess was accompanied by her brother, Mr. Gareth Wittstock and his lovely girlfriend, Roisin Galvin.

And, finally, on March 1, 2013, the St. David’s Day charity gala dinner, organized by the Monaco Wales Association, will be held inside the Salle Empire at the Hotel de Paris.  All funds raised during the event will be donated to the Fondation Princesse Charlene.  Guests expected to attend include legendary singer, Dame Shirley Bassey, actress Catherine Zeta Jones and actor Rhys Ifan to name a few.

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco Inaugurates the New Service de Pediatrie du Centre Hospitalier Princesse and the Centre de Gérontologie Clinique Rainier III. (VIDEO)

MonacoOn February 25, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the inauguration of the Service de Pediatrie du Centre Hospitalier Princesse (CHPG) in Monaco.  After a blessing by Archbishop Bernard Barsi, the sovereign prince unveiled a “…plaque commemorating the opening…” and toured the new facility.

Afterward, Prince Albert II accompanied by the Minister of State of Monaco, Mr. Michel Roger and Archbishop Barsi, presided over the opening of the new Centre de Gérontologie Clinique Rainier III.

According to the Palais Princier, the sovereign prince “… unveiled a plaque at the Centre de Gérontologie Clinique in tribute to the first Government Counsellor for Social Affairs and Health, Mr. Denis Ravera.”

News Regarding the Upcoming Film, Grace of Monaco.

According to Deadline, it seems that Bob and Harvey Weinstein, of The Weinstein Company, has bought the US rights for the upcoming Nicole Kidman movie, Grace of Monaco.

The Hollywood big shots and former owners of the now defunct Miramax Films allegedly purchased the movie for “…$5 million minimum guarantee for the rights and a prints and advertising commitment around $10 million for a minimum 800 screen run…”

Grace of Monaco, directed by Olivier Dahan, will be released sometime in 2014.
