News Regarding TSHs Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco. (VIDEO)

Palais PrincierOn the afternoon of July 6, 2013, His Serene Prince Albert II of Monaco arrived at the Sporting d’Hiver in Monte-Carlo to visit the special exhibition, Dangerous Luxury.

The exhibition, designed by the Campana Brothers, was created especially for the 150th anniversary of the Societe des Bains de Mer.  According to the Monaco-based events site, MaBoum, the exhibition:

“…reflects on the concept of luxury in the context of everyday objects. Works combine diamonds, leather and bronze, with natural materials from the Brazilian decorative tradition. The exhibition also features a selection of furniture from the Brazilian Baroque Collection.”

Afterward, the sovereign prince accompanied by Princess Charlene arrived at the Monte-Carlo Beach restaurant where they had a nice lunch on “Le Deck.”

Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco Attend a Dinner in Celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Societe des Bains de Mer.

palaisprincierOn the evening of July 5, 2013, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended a gala dinner and ceremony on the Place du Casino in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Societe des Bains de Mer.

Guests in attendance, which included dozens of government officials as well as VIP guests, dined on delicious food by famed chef, Mr. Alain Ducasse.  Afterward, guests arrived at the Opera Garnier where they were entertained by the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo as well as by legendary singer, Dame Shirley Bassey.

News Regarding His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco and His Royal Highness Prince Felipe of Asturias.

AlOn July 4, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco arrived at the International Olympic Committee headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland to attend the  announcement of the host city for the 3rd Summer Youth Olympic Games.  So which city was chosen to host the upcoming games?  Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Prince Felipe of Asturias, looking rather irritated, attended the International Olympic Committee Extraordinary Session.  The city of Madrid is campaigning to host the upcoming 2020 Summer Olympic Games along with Tokyo and Istanbul.

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco Presents an Important Medal.

AlbertdeMonacoTRCOn July 1, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco presented Monaco’s second highest distinction, The Ordre de Grimaldi, to the MonacoUSA Association.

According to the official website for MonacoUSA, the association was:

“…created in 1973, at the express wish of Her Serene Highness Princess Grace of Monaco, has for the past 40 years been the Principality’s main rendezvous for resident Americans and native Monegasque citizens as well as friends of both nations from around the globe.”

News Regarding His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco. (VIDEO)

On July 2, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco was in Nice, France where he attended the “…fourth stage of the 100th Edition of the Tour de France.”

This afternoon the sovereign prince arrived in Alès, France to attend the 4th Edition of the Recontres Internationales des Voitures Ecologiques (RIVE).  This two-day conference, organized by the Club des Voitures Ecologique, focuses on “…sustainable mobility…” as well as showcases the latest environmentally friendly cars (i.e. hybrids, electric, etc, etc etc).
