News Regarding Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco.

monacoOn October 2, 2013, Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco arrived at Le Carre du Louvre in Paris to attend the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2014 Ready-to-Wear fashion show designed by Mr. Marc Jacobs.  This was Mr. Jacobs last collection as creative director for the iconic fashion house.

On Monday, the princess attended the Akris Spring/Summer 2014 Ready-to-Wear fashion show to support her good friend, Mr. Albert Kriemler.

In other news, Princess Charlene will return to New York City on October 30, 2013, to attend the 2013 Princess Grace Awards Gala held at Cipriani 42nd Street.  During the event “…24 awards will be presented to emerging artists in theater, dance and film…” according to the Princess Grace Foundation USA.

On September 29, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco arrived at the Musée Océanographique de Monaco to attend the BLUE Ocean Film Festival & Conservation Summit’s “…1-day mini-fest.”

According to the official website for the BLUE Ocean Film Festival & Conservation Summit during Sunday’s event it was announced that BLUE has recently formed:

“…a strategic partnership with the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco Foundation and the Musée Océanographique de Monaco, with plans to bring the global ocean film festival to Monaco every other year starting in 2015.”

On the evening of September 30, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the 6th Cérémonie de Remise des Prix de la Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco held at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte-Carlo.

Last Saturday, the sovereign prince participated in the launch of the Global Underwater Awareness Association’s 2nd World Underwater Protection and Cleanup Day in Monaco.  The event “…focused on reducing the amount and impact of land-based litter and solid waste in the lakes, rivers, and seas as well as its ecological, economic, health, social and security impacts which irresponsible waste management can cause globally.”

AKRIS2On the evening of Sunday, September 29, 2013, Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco arrived at the Grand Palais in Paris, France to attend the Akris Spring/Summer 2014 RTW fashion show.

The beautiful princess, wearing a navy/black wool double-face asymmetrical sheath dress accessorized with a little Ai Messenger bag in denim by Akris, was there to support her good friend, Mr. Albert Kriemler, designer for the house of Akris.

HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco Receives an Honorary Doctorate. (VIDEOS)

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco received an Honorary Doctorate of Marine Science from Plymouth University in South West England this afternoon for his “…commitment to [the] marine environment and conservation…”

According to Plymouth University’s official website, after the ceremony the sovereign prince was given a tour of the: 

“…university’s £19 million Marine Building for a demonstration of its advanced wave tanks, used for testing marine-based renewable energy devices and simulating coastlines and flood defense. 

He also met some of the researchers in the Marine Institute that he’s helped fund through his Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, which is dedicated to protecting the environment.”

News Regarding Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco.

On the evening of September 23, 2013, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco arrived at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City to attend a reception hosted by President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for visiting Heads of State and Government participating in the United Nations 68th General Assembly Session.

Palais Princier.Last evening, Their Serene Highnesses hosted a lovely dinner in New York City in honor of the Principality of Monaco’s admittance to the United Nations.  Guests at the dinner included the President of Palau, Thomas Remengesau, Jr., the Prime Minister of Samoa, Tuilaepa Lupesoliai Sailele Malielegaoi, and the President of Kiribati, Anote Tong, to name a few.
