This evening Prince Albert II attended the 2013 Golden Podium Awards Ceremony. According to the official website for SPORTEL Monaco the Golden Podium Awards were:

On October 8, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco was in Ajaccio on the island of Corsica to witness “… the preparatory phase of the RAMOGPOL 2013 exercise, an anti-pollution drill performed by French, Italian and Spanish personnel and prepared by the Maritime Prefecture of the Mediterranean…”
Confused? Well, basically the sovereign prince was on a boat looking at stuff and meeting cool Naval personnel.
Well, it has been a couple of months since Her Serene Highness Princess Stephanie of Monaco’s two rescued Elephants, Baby and Nepal, arrived from the Tete d’Or Zoo in Lyon, France to their new home at Roc Agel. As you may or may not know Baby and Nepal were destined to be put down earlier this year after government officials in Lyon believed they were infected with Tuberculosis.
Anyway, the princess recently spoke to the press about these beautiful creatures and she is happy to report that they are thriving in their new home. Baby and Nepal were recently examined and thankfully they are in good health, “…all examinations were negative.” Yay!

On the evening of October 8, 2013, Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco arrived at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris to attend Ralph Lauren’s 2013 Fall/Winter Ready-to-Wear collection.

As you may know by now Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco were in Russia for an official visit for five-days. Anyway, on Friday, October 4, 2013, Prince Albert II accompanied by the incredibly obnoxious and utterly smug Russian President, Vladimir Putin, attended the opening of an exhibition of Olympic torches — from the sovereign prince’s private collection — held at the GUM department store in Moscow.
On Sunday, October 6, Prince Albert II attended the arrival ceremony of the Olympic flame in the Red Square in Moscow. And, finally this morning the sovereign prince participated in the Olympic Torch Relay in — you guessed it — Moscow. Sadly (well, actually I find it hilarious and quite ironic) the Olympic flame went out several times during the relay…not a good sign. LOL!
