News Regarding His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco. (VIDEO)

During last week’s participation in the 5th Meeting of the Parties to Agreement on ACCOBAMS in Tangier, Morocco, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco had a chance to take a break from his hectic schedule to see some of the sights in the historic city.  The sovereign prince was given a guided tour by local historian, Mr. Rachid Taferssiti. 

In other news, it was announced that the President of France, François Hollande, will make an official visit to Monaco on Thursday, November 14, 2013.  The purpose of the visit is to strengthen ties between Monaco and France.

During the visit the sovereign prince will host a working luncheon in honor of President Hollande’s visit as well as sign “…five partnership agreements in fields of scientific research and the environment…” at the Musée Océanographique de Monaco according to the Palais Princier.

MonacoOn November 7, 2013, Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the 2013 Peace and Sport Awards held at Sporting Monte-Carlo in Monaco.  During this evening’s event it was announced that Princess Charlene was appointed Ambassador for Peace.

Yesterday, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II attended the opening of the 7th Peace and Sport International Forum and Workshops held at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel.  This morning the sovereign prince attended the session/lecture entitled, Sport: A Peace Building Tool at the Service of Governments, held at the Sporting Monte-Carlo.

Palais PrincierOn November 5, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco participated in the opening session of the 5th Meeting of the Parties to Agreement on the Conservation of Cetaceans in the Black Sea Mediterranean Sea and Contiguous Atlantic Area (ACCOBAMS) held at the Mövenpick Hotel and Casino in Tangier, Morocco.

The ACCOBAMS is a:

“…cooperative tool for the conservation of marine biodiversity in the Mediterranean and Black Seas. Its purpose is to reduce threats to cetaceans in Mediterranean and Black Sea waters and improve our knowledge of these animals.”

Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco Attends a Gala Luncheon in New York City.

CharleneOn the afternoon of October 30, 2013, Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the Dom Pérignon Crown Luncheon held at the Upper East Side restaurant, Daniel, in New York City.

The luncheon was held in honor of the lovely princess as well as  “…for donors of the Princess Grace Foundation…”  according to various sources.
