On Tuesday, June 2, 2015, Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco gave a welcoming speech during the opening of the 2015 Women in Leadership Summit: Make an Impact in the World held inside the Salon Eiffel at the Hotel Hermitage in Monte-Carlo.

The exclusive invitation-only five-day summit “… gathers the world’s most influential, powerful and respected women business leaders, entrepreneurs and government officials to collaborate Monaco…”

HSH Princess Charlene of Monaco Visits a Maternity Ward.

Recently, Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco visited the maternity ward at the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace in Monte-Carlo on the occasion of Fête des Mères.  During her visit the princess met with doctors, nurses, representatives from the Croix-Rouge Monégasque, as well as mothers and their newborn children.

(VIDEOS) Prince Albert II Visits the Solar Impulse 2 Mission Control. Plus, Other News.

On Monday, June 1, 2015, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco visited the Solar Impulse 2 mission control center in Monte-Carlo.

According to a press release, the Solar Impulse 2:

trc“…will land in the Japanese city of Nagoya, organizers said on June 1, as bad weather delayed a landmark attempt by a solar plane to cross the Pacific Ocean. The flight from Nanjing to Hawaii was scheduled to be the longest section of the maiden solar-powered global circumnavigation, an attempt to promote green energy…”

And, finally, on the evening May 28, 2015, the sovereign prince and Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover attended the launch of legendary designer and author, Mr. Hubert de Givenchy, new book entitled, To Audrey with Love, held at the Galerie Ribolzi in Monte-Carlo.  For more information about last Thursday’s event please click here. 

 

News Regarding Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover.

On Saturday, May 30, 2015, Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover accompanied by His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the 48th Concours International de Bouquets held at the Chapiteau de l’espace, Fontvieille.

Organized by the Garden Club de Monaco this year’s theme was Russia.  Though the Concours International de Bouquet is for amateurs only a handful of experts participate in the competition in specified category.

PP4The bouquets in the competition “…are judged by two juries: the official jury is comprised of judges who are qualified in floral art. The special jury, chaired by HRH Princess Caroline of Hanover, is made up of celebrities from the literary and artistic worlds…” 

On Sunday, the award ceremony was held at the Hôtel Hermitage in the presence of Princess Caroline.

The Princely Couple of Monaco Attend the 73rd Edition of the Grand Prix de Monaco.

On Sunday, May 24, 2015, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco accompanied by Mr. Andrea Casiraghi, Mr. Pierre Casiraghi, and members of the Monégasque government attended the 73rd Edition of the Grand Prix de Monaco.

The princely couple along with thousands of Formula One fans cheered as German-born, Monégasque resident, Mr. Nico Rosberg, won the Grand Prix de Monaco for the second time. Coming in second place was Mr. Sebastian Vettel with Mr. Lewis Hamilton coming in at a disappointing third place.

On Saturday evening, May 23, 2015, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene hosted a reception at the Palais Princier for VIPS attending the famous Grand Prix de Monaco as well as Formula One drivers participating in the legendary race.
