HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco to be Honored With a Prestigious Conservation Award in Sweden.

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco will receive a prestigious conservation award from The Perfect World Foundation during the 2022 Arctic Ocean Gala held at the Gothenburg Stock Exchange in Gothenburg, Sweden on May 5. Previous recipients of the conservation award include Sir David Attenborough, Dr. Sylvia Earle, Dr. Jane Goodall, Dr. Wangari Maathai, the late Dr. Dian Fossey, and Miss Greta Thunberg to name a few.

The sovereign prince will become the ninth recipient of the honorary conservation award. The award is presented annually to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the global awareness of the importance of protecting wildlife, nature, and the environment. Prince Albert II is also being honored for his life-long commitment, dedication, and work in ocean conservation. Moreover, his personal foundation, Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco (FPA), is dedicated to the protection of the environment and the promotion of sustainable development such as limiting the effects of climate change and promoting renewable energies, preserving biodiversity, managing water resources, and combating desertification.

Prior to the gala and award ceremony, Prince Albert II will inaugurate The Perfect World Foundation’s latest project, Project Ocean, which aims to spread knowledge about, the location, salvage, and recycling of ghost nets and other lost fishing equipment in our oceans. 

Thereafter, the sovereign prince will plant a tree in the Attenborough Forest at the Gothenburg Botanical Garden. The purpose of the planting of the tree is to draw attention to The Perfect World Foundation’s work in promoting biodiversity.

In the evening, Prince Albert II will be honored at the glamorous Arctic Ocean Gala dinner where he is expected to give a five-minute speech.

HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco Tests Negative for COVID-19 and Enjoys a Tennis Match in Monte-Carlo with His Cousin.

After being tested positive for COVID-19 and asymptomatic last week His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco has tested negative several times since he was originally diagnosed with the virus. As a result, on Sunday, April 17 his physicians gave the sovereign prince the green light to resume his regular activities.

So, that same day Prince Albert II accompanied by his cousin, Miss Mélanie-Antoinette Costello de Massy, attended the 2022 Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters Final between Mr. Stefano Tsitsipas and Alejandro Fokina at the Monte-Carlo Country Club.

After an exciting match, Prince Albert II presented the trophy to the winner, Mr. Stefano Tsitsipas, while Miss de Massey presented the silver plaque to Mr. Alejandro Fokina.

HSH Princess Charlene of Monaco Sends an Easter Message.

On Sunday, April 17, 2022, Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco wished everyone a very “…Happy Easter…” on her personal Instagram page. It’s been some time since royal watchers have seen the lovely princess due her to convalescence in a Swiss clinic and then a recent return to the Principality. Nonetheless, the princess looks happy, healthy, and calm. Wishing her much love, light and bright blessings!

Meanwhile, the Palais Princier de Monaco also released Easter photos of the princely family. The additional images were taken in the back garden of the Palais Princier as well as in Palatine chapel where the family attended an Easter service presided over by the Chaplain of the Palais Princier, Father Caesar Penzo.

On Sunday, April 17, 2022, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark accompanied His Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and Her Royal Highness Princess Isabella of Denmark, attended Easter Service at Aarhus Domkirke in Aarhus.

The royal family were warmly welcomed by the Royal Chaplain-in-Ordinary Henrik Wigh-Poulsen. On Saturday, April 30, Reverend Wigh-Poulsen who will preside over the confirmation of HRH Princess Isabella at Fredensborg Slotskirke

(VIDEO) HSH Princess Stephanie of Monaco Takes TSH Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella of Monaco to the Circus.

On Saturday, April 16, 2022, Her Serene Highness Princess Stephanie of Monaco, accompanied by her two daughters, Miss Pauline Ducuret and Miss Camille Gottlieb, along with His Serene Highness Hereditary Prince Jacques of Monaco and Her Serene Highness Princess Gabriella of Monaco attended a charity circus performance at the Théâtre Princesse Grace in Monte-Carlo. Yesterday’s performance was held on the occasion of the 12th World Circus Day; moreover, the money raised from the show will be donated to various circus schools in Ukraine.

Prior to the show Princess Stephanie was interviewed by the local news network, Monaco Info, regarding the charity performance noting that, “…she was happy with the initiative.” According to Gala magazine, the princess went on to state that:

“…since the circus world is suffering enormously from the new measures which concern animals in particular, but also from these years of health crisis. I will fight until the end so that the traditional circus continues. As this year they can’t do their end-of-year shows, we wanted to do it here. We had to help these young people so that they don’t lose this love of the circus and this desire to continue their vocation and their passion.”

On the morning of Sunday, April 17, 2022, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge, Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, Their Royal Highnesses The Earl and Countess of Wessex, Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor, James Viscount Severn attended Easter Matins Service at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor. Unfortunately, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II did not attend today’s service due to mobility issues. Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall also did not attend.

Other members of the British royal family attended this morning’s service including Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie of York and her husband, Mr. Jack Brooksbank, Mr. Mike Tindall and Mrs. Zara Tindall accompanied by their eldest daughter, Miss Mia Tindall, Mr. Peter Philips accompanied by his two daughters, Miss Savannah Philips and Miss Isla Philips, Lady Sarah Chatto (née Armstrong-Jones) and her husband, Mr. David Chatto, Mr. Arthur Chatto, Mr. Samuel Chatto, and Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones (daughter of The 2nd Earl of Snowdon, Mr. David Armstrong-Jones).

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco Tests Positive for COVID-19.

On Wednesday, April 13, 2022, the Palais Princier de Monaco announced that His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco has tested positive for COVID-19. This is the second time since the pandemic began that the sovereign prince has had the virus. In March 2020 Prince Albert II was diagnosed with COVID-19. He was the first of several heads-of-state in Europe to test positive.

In a press release the Palais Princier noted that the sovereign prince is:

Asymptomatic at this time, his state of health inspires absolutely no concern. He works remotely, in permanent contact with the members of his cabinet, his government as well as with his close collaborators. This period of isolation will adapt to the health rules in force. 

This evening, His Serene Highness was due to attend the 23rd Annual Stars of Stony Brook Gala held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. The sovereign prince is being recognized for his dedication to ocean conservation and sustainability.
