On Thursday, September 8, 2016, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark visited the “…new headquarters of Semco Maritime at Esbjerg Brygge. The visit was part of the celebration of the 50-year jubilee for the first Danish oil and gas finds in the North Sea, which was celebrated across Esbjerg under the auspices of ‘First50’…” according to a Semco Maritime press release.

On the afternoon of Friday, September 9, 2016, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark attended the 2016 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Prisen held at the Børsen in Copenhagen, Denmark.
During today’s award ceremony the future queen of Denmark presented two awards “…first a prize for the best CSR report to a company with more than 6,000 employees. [The second award] for best CSR report to a company with fewer than 6000 employees. [The CSR Awards] highlights good practice in the reporting of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and pays tribute to the Danish companies that excel and can be a source of inspiration for others…”

On Monday, September 5, 2016, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark arrived at the Kastellet (citadel) in Copenhagen to attend wreath-laying ceremony on the 2016 Flagdagen (Flag Day).
According to the newspaper, Local Denmark, Flagdagen is an “…occasion to express acknowledgement of the outstanding and professional effort, that Denmark’s deployed personnel, have made and make today in a number of the world’s conflict areas…”
On Monday, August 1, 2016, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the opening ceremony of the 129th International Olympic Committee session in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Other royals in attendance included His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg and Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.
