The duke arrives at the Centrepoint Support Centre
On the afternoon of November 22, 2013, His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge officially opened the Haven Point Leisure Centre in South Shields.
In the morning, the duke visited the Centrepoint Support Centre (CSC) in Sunderland. According to the Associated Press the CSC provides:
“…accommodation for homeless young people and can house up to 18 young people at any time.
Residents can stay and receive high level support for up to three months. The service also offers training facilities to help young people with basic skills such as cooking, and to access further learning opportunities.”

On Friday, November 22, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales accompanied by his teammates left Cape Town, South Africa, and headed towards Antarctica to begin the Walking with the Wounded South Pole Allied Challenge.
Six hours later the prince and his teammates finally arrived in freezing Antarctica.

On November 21, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh visited Southwark Cathedral in London to view the Diamond Jubilee stained glass window.
Earlier in the day, Her Majesty and the duke visited “…western Europe’s tallest building…” known as The Shard.
On November 20, 2013, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales arrived at the Royal Society in London to attend a reception for the launch of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Global Forests Report 2013.
According to the official website for the CDP the report provides:
“…an analysis of the global companies that responded to CDP’s 2013 forests information request on behalf of 184 investors with $13 trillion in assets. The report gives an insight into how companies are addressing their exposure to risks from the agricultural commodities responsible for most deforestation globally.”
