According to the British royal court, the duke “…received the award for his outstanding support for engineering technology and materials innovation to the benefit of mankind…”
On the evening of November 26, 2013, His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge attended the 2nd Annual Winter Whites Gala, in aid of the charity Centerpoint, held at Kensington Palace in London.
During this evening’s event guests were entertained with performances by Mr. Jon Bon Jovi and Miss Taylor Swift.
On November 26, 2013, His Royal Highness The Earl of Wessex visited the charity, Door Youth Project, in Stroud, Gloucestershire.
According to the newspaper, Stroud News and Journal, the earl met with “…youngsters benefiting from its counseling, education, training and family support programs at the charity’s drop-in center and offices…”

On November 26, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duke of Cambridge arrived at the Zoological Society of London (ZSL) to participate in the United for Wildlife meeting.
During today’s gathering Their Royal Highnesses “…met with global conservation leaders [at the ZSL London Zoo] to discuss how new technology will help put an end to wildlife poaching.”

On November 25, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall arrived at the London Palladium Theatre to attend the 2013 Royal Variety Performance. Tonight’s performance will benefit the Entertainment Artistes’ Benevolent Fund.
On Monday, November 25, 2013, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales arrived in Sherston, Malmesbury in Wiltshire to open the Sherston Old School Project.
The prince also visited the Royal Agricultural University’s Rural Innovation Centre at Manor Farm in Gloucestershire. According to Clarence House the Rural Innovation Centre:
“…enables the university to further its research and learning activities and share agricultural knowledge and broaden its research base in the agri-business sector.
The Prince’s Countryside Fund has supported one of the more vocational projects to be run at the Centre, which is aimed at introducing local young people to agricultural skills.”
