On March 25, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace in London for the Irish Community.
According to the newspaper, Irish Post, this evening’s reception was held in “…[recognition of] Irish people who have made a positive contribution to business, community and culture in Britain, as well as British businesses and individuals who have enjoyed success in Ireland.”
On Friday, March 21, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh attended the “…opening of Rambert dance companies new premises in London…” according to the Associated Press.
On the evening of March 20, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace for “…Lieutenant Governors of the Crown Dependencies…” according to the British royal court.
On March 20, 2014, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall arrived at The City Academy in Hackney, east London, to visit the Words for Work program.
According to Clarence House the Words for Work program:
“…aims to tackle youth unemployment with increased literacy, bringing business volunteers into schools to empower young people to gain communication skills for the world of employment.”
On Wednesday, March 19, 2014, Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex opened the new Heart Center at Ipswich Hospital in Ipswich, Suffolk.
The lovely countess also visited the Genesis Orwell Mencap as well as Headway Ipswich “…where she saw firsthand the work done to help people with brain injuries…” according to the newspaper, Ipswich Star.
