On January 24, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visited the City & Guilds of London Art School During their visit the royal couple, toured the Historic Carving Department and the Conservation Department where they “…learned about the specialist training provided to young restoration and conservation professionals…” according to the official website for The Prince of Wales.
The royal couple also visited the St Anselm’s Church where they learned about “…the community charity project Pathways at Kennington Cross, which aims to help deprived people in the area by creating a new community hub through redeveloping of the St Anselm’s church.”
And, finally, The Prince of Wales visited the Surrey County Cricket Club, where he “… inspected the work to the new frontage of the Pavilion and met the craftsmen as well as builders working on the £2 million project…”

Well, Captain Wales (His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales) is finally back home in lovely old England after serving his second tour of duty in Afghanistan. And, that’s it. 🙂
Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall visited “… a reading scheme at the St. Mary’s Primary School in Battersea…” on January 23, 2013. During her visit the duchess met with staff and students “…benefiting from the project, run by the Beanstalk literacy charity, formerly known as Volunteer Reading Help (VRH)…”

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall hosted a reception at Clarence House in honor of “… the achievements of the British equestrian teams…” who participated in the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games. The duchess is patron of the British Equestrian Federation.
His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales was in Northampton this afternoon where he toured the “…footwear manufacturers, Crockett & Jones…”. The prince also visited the Middleport Pottery factory in Stoke-on-Trent, where he met with staff and toured the factory.
