On Wednesday, January 30, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall celebrated the 150th anniversary of the London Underground by taking a brief train ride “…from Farringdon to King’s Cross on the Metropolitan Line on a new S-stock train.”

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall Visits Camp Bulford in Wiltshire.

 Cam Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall visited the Ward Barracks at Camp Bulford in Wiltshire on January 29, 2013.  According to the website, PrinceofWales.gov.uk, the duchess met with:

“…the 4th Battalion, The Rifles, during their pre-deployment training. The duchess also watched a  mission-specific training, visited the new gym, opened the Officers’ Mess and joined soldiers and their families at a reception.”

PoWbwOn January 29, 2013, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales “…led a group of senior business leaders on a ‘Seeing is Believing’ visit to an organization supported by the Business in the Community (BITC), Circle Sports, in London…”

Afterward, the prince attended a “…report back seminar with business leaders who are participating in the BITC ‘Seeing is Believing’ program…” held at St. James’s Palace according to the official website for Prince of Wales.

His Royal Highness The Earl of Wessex Inaugurates a New Building at the University of Winchester.

EoWOn Tuesday, January 29, 2013, His Royal Highness The Earl of Wessex officially inaugurated the new “…state-of-the-art learning and teaching building, St. Alphege…” at the University of Winchester.

During the inauguration the Earl of Wessex unveiled a new plaque, toured the new building as well as met with the university staff and students.
