His Royal Highness Prince Philippe of Belgium Attends a Football Match at the Stade Roi Baudouin in Brussels.
Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of Belgium Visit Thailand: Day Six.
On March 22, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of Belgium continued their never-ending (what seems to be) visit to Thailand.
The day began with a visit to the Sea Farming Learning Center in the province of Petchaburi. Whilst there the royal couple received loads of gifts, met with officials and stared at a bunch of fish.
In the afternoon Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde returned to the St. Regis Hotel in Bangkok, changed their clothing, and hopped into their chauffeur driven car. Minutes later the royal couple arrived at the Siriraj Hospital. Whilst there the prince and princess held an audience with His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand.
Afterward, the royal couple and their incredibly large business delegation drove to the Suvarnabhumi International Airport and boarded a plane back to Belgium.

His Majesty King Albert II of Belgium Visits the Direction des Unités Spéciales de la Police Fédérale. (VIDEOS)
On the morning of March 21, 2013, His Majesty King Albert II of Belgium visited the Direction des Unités Spéciales de la Police Fédérale (CGSU) in Etterbeek.
According to the newspaper, La Dernière Heure, during today’s visit His Majesty:
“…received some explanations of the various disciplines within the specialized Direction des Unités Spéciales de la Police Fédérale and attended a working meeting.
Upon arrival, the King was greeted by four service members of the CGSU intervention, a diver, a sniper and a dog. After a meeting with the head of CGSU, the Chief Commissioner Roland Pacolet, and the hierarchy of the Police Fédérale, His Majesty received a gift and signed the guest book.
His Majesty was also informed about the work of the Victim Identification team (Disaster Victim Identification DVI), set up after the disaster of the Herald of Free Enterprise in 1987 and again recently with the requested rail disaster in Buizingen 2010 and the accident bus Sierre in Switzerland in 2012. The king also witnessed a demonstration of a series of methods and techniques, and specialized equipment that uses CGSU in various situations. Police intervention in cases of bank robbery has been simulated.”
TRHs Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of Belgium Visit Thailand: Day Five.
On March 21, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of Belgium continued their long and tiring visit to beautiful Thailand.
This morning Prince Philippe, accompanied by his business delegation as well as the Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand and the Minister of Finance for Thailand, participated in the information seminar entitled, Thailand as a Regional Hub for Doing Business, held at the Belgian embassy in Bangkok. Two hours later the prince and about a dozen of closest friends attended a “…signing ceremony…” at the St. Regis Hotel, visited the Thai Airway headquarters, and participated in yet another boring seminar entitled, well, it doesn’t matter because you are probably not even reading this article, right? 🙂
Moving on.
Meanwhile, Princess Mathilde visited the Kredtrakarn Protection and Occupational Development Center in Bangkok. She had fun. Afterward, the prince and princess met up to participate in the inauguration of the “…new logo of the Thai Belgian Bridge, and the opening of the exhibition commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Thai Belgian Bridge…” at Lumpini Park.
This evening Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde attended a “…Jazz concert with Jeff Neve organized by the Belgian embassy.”

Their Majesties King Albert II and Queen Paola of Belgium Visit Namur.
On March 20, 2013, Their Majesties King Albert II and Queen Paola of Belgium visited Namur. The purpose of their visit is to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Ecole Hôtelière Provinciale.
Upon their arrival in Namur Their Majesties were warmly greeted by local dignitaries as well as hundreds of locals “…on the Place Saint-Aubain.” Soon, King Albert II and Queen Paola participated in a meeting with “…residents and representatives from various provincial schools.”
In the afternoon, Their Majesties arrived at the Palais Provincial where they were given a tour of the Ecole Hôtelière Provinciale and attended a luncheon held in their honor.

On the morning of March 20, 2013, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde, accompanied by their incredibly large business delegation, visited the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate located on the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand.
During their visit the royal couple participated in a meeting with representatives from the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand as well as toured the Environmental Monitoring and Control Center.
Afterward, Prince Philippe attended the “…opening of the seminar, Port of Zeebrugge: The Role of Europe’s leading Automotive Port…” Meanwhile, Princess Mathilde visited the Vinythai Coral Reef Project. In the evening the royal couple attended a “…gala dinner on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of BELUTHAI.”
