On the afternoon of Tuesday, July 5, 2022, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and His Royal Highness Prince Christian of Denmark attended a memorial service for the victims of the Field’s Shopping Center attack in Copenhagen.

On Sunday, July 3, 2022, a 22-year-old Danish man stormed into the popular Field’s Shopping Center in Copenhagen and opened fire on dozens of innocent people. Three were killed and four severely injured.

During today’s memorial service, the Danish Prime Minister, Her Excellency Mette Frederiksen, and the Lord Mayor of Copenhagen, Sophie Hæstorp Andersen, gave speeches in front of hundreds of mourners. The Ungklang choir and Danish singer, Andreas Odbjerg, performed the song, I Morgen er der Også en Dag.

Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of the Belgians Participates in a Round-Table Discussion with Clients of MicroStart in Antwerp.

On Tuesday, July 5, 2022, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of the Belgians visited the Antwerp branch of MicroStart, a microfinance institution that supports and grants Micro-Loans/Micro-Credits to future entrepreneurs who do not have access to financing from the traditional banking sector.

According to the Belgian royal court, Her Majesty participated in two roundtable discussions regarding “…the social impact of Micro-Loans/Micro-Credits with employees and clients of the agency. For several years now, Her Majesty has closely followed the development of microfinance in Belgium and abroad.”

On Tuesday, July 5, 2022, His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain presided over an award ceremony for Royal Dispatches to the XLVII class of the Basic General Academy of Non-Commissioned Officers (AGBS NCOs) in Talarn.

The mission of the Basic General Academy of Non-Commissioned Officers is to enable the Non-Commissioned Officers to develop executive actions proper to their specialty, to enable them to command Units of their Fundamental Specialty or Logistic Units up to Section level, to instruct the students in the attitudes proper of the Non-Commissioned Officer, and to teach them general knowledge about National Defense, the Armed Forces Organization, and International Organizations.

Upon his arrival at the AGBS, His Majesty King Felipe VI was received by the Spanish Army Chief of Staff, Army General Amador Fernando Enseñat y Berea, and by the Director of the Basic General Academy of NCOs, Colonel José Luis Guerrero Jiménez.
