On February 28, 2014, Her Royal Highness Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands opened the Bibliotheek Gouda in, well, Gouda. The library building dates back to 1971 and was originally a chocolate factory according to RVD.

On Friday, February 28, 2014, Her Royal Highness Princess Letizia of Asturias arrived at the Palacio del Senado in Madrid to attend a ceremony held on the occasion of Día Mundial de las Enfermedades Raras.
Today’s ceremony was organized by the Federación Española de Enfermedades Raras (FEDER) in collaboration with the Organización Europea de Enfermedades Raras (EURORDIS).
