On Friday, January 31, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium accompanied by Queen Paola of Belgium visited the offices of Child Focus Foundation in Brussels. Her Majesty is now Honorary President of the foundation, a position in which she recently took over from Queen Paola.

On January 31, 2014, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway visited the Balder Tekstil (Textile) in Oslo. During today’s visit the crown princess met with staff and toured the facility.

On Friday, January 31, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Maxima of the Netherlands attended the 5th Symposium of Qredits Microfinance Netherlands held at the Auditorium van Rabobank Nederland in Utrecht.
According to RVD, Qredits is a:
“…rural credit organization which helps new and existing entrepreneurs successfully re-start their business. Qredits does this by offering microloans up to 150,000 Euros SME lending, business tools and personal coaching. The goal is to stimulate entrepreneurship in the Netherlands…”

On the morning of Friday, January 31, 2014, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales arrived in Shobdon, Herefordshire to visit The Church of St. John the Evangelist which had recently undergone extensive restoration.
The Prince of Wales also visited the Maesyronnen Chapel in Hay-on-Wye. According to Clarence House the chapel is a “…17th Century single-story Nonconformist hilltop meeting house…”
On January 30, 2014, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco received credentials at the Palais Princier from ambassadors representing the countries of Ireland, Equatorial Guinea, and Serbia.

On the evening of January 30, 2014, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales hosted a reception, together with the Soil Association and the Department of Health, at Clarence House in London for “…NHS Commissioners in order to champion the improvement of hospital food across the United Kingdom.”
On January 30, 2014, His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium arrived at the Banque Nationale de Belgique in Brussels to participate in an “…academic session organized by the INAMI on the occasion of 50th anniversary of sickness and invalidity insurance.”
