On the morning of February 4, 2014, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands visited the Stichting SchuldHulpMaatje (Debt Relief Buddy Foundation) in Midden-Delfland.
Created in 2010, Stichting SchuldHulpMaatje is a “…national network of local volunteer organizations that helps people in financial trouble…” according to RVD.
On February 4, 2014, His Majesty King Harald of Norway arrived at the Norske Teatret in Oslo to attend the 2014 Hjerteprisen award ceremony. During this evening’s event His Majesty presented the Hjerteprisen to Professor Guro Valen from the University of Oslo.
On Tuesday, February 4, 2014, His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium arrived at the Monnaie Royale de Belgique in Brussels to “…view the first coins with the portrait of the king…” according to the Belgian royal court.
On February 4, 2014, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall hosted a luncheon at Clarence House for supporters of the charity, The Brooke.
The Brooke, which is celebrating their 80th anniversary this year, is an “…international animal welfare organization committed to improving the lives of working horses, donkeys, mules and their owners…”
On Tuesday, February 4, 2014, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales visited the flood-hit communities of Stoke St. Gregory and Muchelney, Somerset.
Whilst in Stoke St. Gregory, according to Clarence House, The Prince of Wales “…met with local residents, farmers and emergency services personnel who have been affected by the recent flooding…”
Thereafter, the prince “…met with a local farming family at Thorney Moor Farm in Langport and the community of Muchelney…”
