On Wednesday, February 5, 2014, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales visited the 639 Enterprise Centre in Tottenham, north London where he “…met local young people, including entrepreneurs from the area…” according to the Associated Press.

His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Naruhito of Japan Attends a Reception at the Swiss Embassy in Tokyo. (VIDEOS)

On Tuesday, February 4, 2014, His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Naruhito of Japan accompanied by the President of the Swiss Confederation, Mr. Didier Burkhalter, arrived at the Swiss Embassy in Tokyo to attend an “…opening reception in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Switzerland…” according to NHK News.

On Monday, Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan held an audience with President Burkhalter and his wife, First Lady Sabine Burkhalter, at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, and His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg in Sochi, Russia.

albertdemonacoOn the evening of Tuesday, February 4, 2014, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco arrived at the Zimny Theater in Sochi, Russia to attend the 126th opening session of the International Olympic Committee.   Also, in attendance was His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg.

Earlier in the day, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal met with the President of Russia, Mr. Vladimir Putin, as will as with the President of the International Olympic Committee, Mr. Thomas Bach, during a welcoming ceremony at the Rus Hotel ahead of the Sochi Winter Olympics.

 

His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands Views the Exhibition, De Tweede Wereldoorlog in 100 Voorwerpen. (VIDEO)

dutchOn Tuesday, February 4, 2014, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands arrived at the Kunsthal Museum in Rotterdam to attend the opening of the exhibition, De Tweede Wereldoorlog in 100 Voorwerpen (The Second World War in 100 Objects).

According to the official website for the Kunsthal Museum the exhibition displays:

“…a hundred of the most exceptional objects from 25 war and resistance museums in the Netherlands [which were] brought together and exhibited at the Kunsthal Rotterdam.

[The] exhibition takes visitors back to the days of the Second World War giving it relevance for young and old alike. The numerous events behind each of these objects evoke personal memories, emotions, abhorrence and sentiments stemming from the war years between 1940 and 1945.”
