On Monday, October 20, 2014, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands attended the opening of the 6th Asia-Europe Culture Ministers Meeting (ASEM), held under the theme, Creative Industries, in Rotterdam.
According to RVD, issues to be discussed during the three-day meeting:
“…include the significance of creativity for sustainable cities and the demands of the 21st Century proposes to education and the labor market.
ASEM is a cooperation between nearly fifty countries in Asia and Europe and focuses on strengthening the relationship between these two regions.”

On Friday, October 3, 2014, His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain presided over the closing of the XXV Asamblea Plenaria del Consejo Empresarial de América Latina (CEAL) held under the theme, Espacio Empresarial Iberoamericano una Oportunidad para el Crecimiento, at the Distrito C Telefónica in Madrid.
This year’s meeting gathered more than 200 CEOs from various Latin American companies according to Casa Real.

On the evening of October 1, 2014, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Their Imperial and Royal Highnesses Princess Astrid of Belgium, Archduchess of Austria-Este, Prince Lorenz of Belgium, Archduke of Austria-Este, attended the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) charity gala dinner held at the new Yacht Club de Monaco building.
According to the Palais Princier, the sovereign prince is Honorary President of the EORTC Charitable Trust.
