On Tuesday, April 29, 2014, His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain arrived in Muscat, Oman for a three-day official visit. The purpose of the visit is to strengthen economic and bilateral ties between Spain and Oman.

Anyway, after his arrival at the Seeb International Airport His Majesty was driven to the Muscat Gate Museum where he was warmly welcomed to Oman by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said.

After the official welcoming ceremony, His Majesty King Juan Carlos I and His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said arrived at Al Alam Palace where a reception was held in His Majesty’s honor.

This morning His Majesty King Juan Carlos I and his delegation attended several meetings with various Omani government officials and business executives.

On Wednesday, April 30, 2014, Her Royal Highness Princess Letizia of Asturias visited the bilingual school, María Moliner, in Villanueva de la Cañada.

The school is participating in the project, Las Enfermedades Raras van al Cole con Federito, an initiative of the Federación Española de Enfermedades Raras according to the Spanish royal court.
