On February 11, 2014, Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain arrived at the Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid to tour the new Medicina de la Adolescencia and the Ginecología Adaptada wards.
According to the Spanish royal court the Fundación Reina Sofía recently donated 51,251 Euros to the Medicina de la Adolescencia ward while the Ginecología Adaptada ward received 28,673 Euros.

“…unprecedented levels of killing of endangered species [such as] Elephants which are killed at a rate of 100 per day. [The prince and the duke] also highlight[ed] the grave threat the illegal wildlife trade poses to the economic and political stability in many areas around the world and make a plea for the public to support those organizations who are working to put an end to the trade.”
On the evening of Monday, February 10, 2014, His Royal Highness Prince Laurent of Belgium arrived at La Monnaie in Brussels to attend the Belgian première of the film, Saving Mr. Banks.

On Sunday, February 9, 2014, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco arrived at the Stade Louis II in Monaco to attend the French Ligue 1 football match between AS Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
