HRH Princess Caroline of Hanover Attends the Opening of a New Exhibition.
Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Hanover visited the Musée d’Archéologie Préhistorique to view the new exhibit entitled, A la Conquête du Feu, on February 8, 2013.
Per the Palais Princier:
“The Musée d’Archéologie Préhistorique presents its new exhibition, A la Conquête du Feu, in partnership with the Musée d’Archéologie de Nice. Using both historical and technical, through the use of panels, objects, and a documentary film the public will discover the origins of the fire in its role both in social and cultural cohesion of a group of people and the tools used from prehistory to today.”

His Royal Highness Prince Laurent of Belgium Visits the Hôpital Universitaire d’Anvers.
On February 9, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Laurent of Belgium visited the Centre pour Maladies Métaboliques Héréditaires at the Hôpital Universitaire d’Anvers in Antwerp to meet with “… attend a presentation and to meet with patients with metabolic diseases…”

Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal Inaugurates a New Building at Coventry University. (VIDEO)
On the morning of Friday, February 8, 2013, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal inaugurated the new Faculty of Engineering and Computing building at Coventry University.
According to a press release via Coventry University, the new £55 million is a:
“…striking, eco-friendly structure, which houses an impressive array of high-tech equipment, symbolic of the University’s ongoing commitment to invest in our engineering future and support technology-based companies.
The building’s design, from the way that classrooms and laboratories are arranged to the way that cutting-edge technology is used throughout, also reflects the University’s innovative approach to teaching and learning which is firmly focused on preparing students for successful careers.”
During her visit The Princess Royal toured the new building, met with professors as well as students.

His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden Attends the 2013 Årets Kock. (VIDEO)
On February 8, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip of Sweden attended the 2013 Årets Kock (Chef of the Year) held at the Stockholm Waterfront in Stockholm.
During today’s event the prince awarded the top prize, the Gastronomic Academy Dairy Medal, to Mr. Daniel Räms of Räms Food and Gastronomy.
According to the Swedish royal court, the Årets Kock began in 1983 and is “… organized by the Swedish dairy company in collaboration with the Gastronomiska Akademien, Svenska Kockars Förening and the Föreningen Årets Kock.”
