His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco witnessed the signing of a new partnership between the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace and the University of Pennsylvania on Friday, April 12, 2013. According to the Gouvernement Princier, the purpose of the new partnership is to:
“…promote cooperation in education and research as well as to develop exchanges between the two institutions specifically in the fields of cardiology, surgery and oncology.”
On April 15, 2013, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan visited the “…recently established Royal Artillery Corps…” near Amman. His Majesty, as Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, was brief on various training exercises and the RAC’s operations according to the Jordan News Agency.

After the meeting, Mr. Jérôme Froissart was appointed the new Secretary-General of the Association Mondiale des Amis De l’Enfance.
On Sunday, April 14, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the French Top rugby match between RC Toulon and ASM Clermont held at the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille, France.
On Sunday, April 14, 2013, His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan held an audience with the Speaker of the Yemeni Lower House of Parliament, Mr. Yahya Al-Rai, in Amman, Jordan. During the meeting discussions focused on the Syrian crisis and “…efforts to achieve peace between Palestinians and Israel based on the two-state solution…” according to the Jordan News Agency.
