Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan visited the 1776 Campus in Washington D.C., on April 23, 2013. During her visit Her Majesty was given a tour and discussed, “…the startup economy, education reinvention, and other global challenges.” 1776 Campus is:

On April 24, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid of Belgium, in her capacity as Special Representative of the Partnership ‘Roll Back Malaria’, arrived in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to begin her three-day visit on the occasion of World Malaria Day.
The princess and her delegation were invited to visit the mainland southeast Asian country by the Minister of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO). Tomorrow, Princess Astrid and her delegation will “…participate in various festivities on the occasion of World Malaria Day and launch the WHO’sEmergency Response to Artemisinin Resistance in the Greater Mekong Sub-Region (ERAR)…” according to the Belgian royal court.
Prior to her departure to Cambodia, Princess Astrid met with Their Imperial Majesties Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan at the Imperial Palace as well as with His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Naruhito of Japan at Togu Palacein Tokyo.
Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall visited the Cobham Community Center in Surrey this morning to help promote Meals on Wheels with the celebrity chefs, The Hairy Bikers. The purpose of today’s event was to “…revive [the] ‘Meals on Wheels’ services for pensioners…”
Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge arrived at the National Portrait Gallery in London this evening to attend a reception to “…celebrate the work of the charity, The Art Room…” according a press release via Princeofwales.gov.uk.

His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh arrived in County Durham this afternoon to officially open the newly restored £2.3million Glendene Arts Academy in Easington Colliery according to the newspaper, Hartlepool Mail. Prior to the opening the duke visited the Langley Park Primary School where he opened the new school garden and unveiled a new plaque commemorating the opening as well as the duke’s visit.

On April 24, 2013, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon of Norway attended Dignity Day at he Glemmen High School in Fredrikstad. During today’s visit the crown prince met with students, staff, gave a speech, and generally had a fabulous time.
