On the evening of May 31, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended a party in Monte-Carlo to celebrate “…AS Monaco’s 2012-13 season and their come back in the French Premier League football for the next season…”

In other news, as you may know by now Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco has graced the current cover of VOGUE Japan Health & Beauty. According to a press release sent to me from Akris Princess Charlene’s 6-page feature was styled by Akris creative director, Mr. Albert Kriemler. In the issue the princess discusses her “…charitable educational sports program for children organized by the Fondation Princesse Charlene de Monaco.”

After participating in the 2013 Langenburg Forum on Regional Food Security in Langenburg, Germanyon Monday then traveling to Armenia for a three-day private visit His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales decided stop by Romania for a few days.
According to the Romanian News Agency, the prince arrived yesterday afternoon. After being welcomed by various officials the prince and his party:
“…left for Miclosoara, in Covasna County, to Count Tibor Kalnoki’s house. On Friday, HRH has scheduled a private visit to the village of Archita, Vanatori commune, Mures County…”

On the afternoon of May 31, 2013, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden arrived at the Medelhavsmuseet in Stockholm to participate in the research conference entitled, Svenskar vid Medelhavet: Den Arkeologiske Kronprinsen och Svensk Antikforskning i Historiskt Perspektiv.
During today’s conference the future queen of Sweden listened to various lectures from scholars from Lunds Universitet, the Swedish Institute in Rome and Uppsala Universitet to name a few.
On Friday, May 31, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands opened the renovated Museum de Fundatie in Zwolle. The museum “…offers a top collection of visual art, attractive exhibitions in high-quality premises…”

On May 30, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco along with representatives from the Parc National du Mercantour and the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco released two giant bearded Vultures back into the wild.
According to the Fondation Prince Albert de Monaco yesterday’s release is part of an “…international program to reintroduce these animals back into their natural environment.”
On the afternoon of May 31, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain arrived at the Parque del Retiro in Madrid to inaugurate the 72nd Edition of the Ferio del Libro de Madrid.
Established in 1933 the Ferio del Libro de Madrid brings together hundreds of international publishers, authors, booksellers, and people to this outdoor festitvus of books! There are also exhibition stands/booths, lectures as well as book signings by well-known authors. How fun! The Ferio del Libro de Madrid ends on June 16, 2013. Admission is free. Oh, and there is food as well. 🙂
