Their Royal Highnesses Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia of Asturias arrived at the Palacio del Senado in Madrid this afternoon to attend the IX Edition of the Premio Luis Carandell de Periodismo Parlamentario.
The winner of the award was Ms. Maria Rey for her sixteen years of responsible journalism at the Spanish television network, Antenna 3 (A3TV).
Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal arrived in Boston, Lincolnshire this morning to attend a service of dedication for the Puritan Path Tourism Project at St. Botolph’s Church.
According to the newspaper, Lincolnshire Echo, the Puritan Path Tourism Project:
“…commemorates the twelve important Puritan men and women from the congregation of St. Botolph’s Church, Boston, who left England for the New World in the 1630s as part of the Massachusetts Bay Company…”

Afterward, The Princess Royal arrived at Apex Lake in North Hykeham, Lincolnshire to attend the 5th anniversary celebrations of the Hykeham Sailability Club and to “…launch a new safety boat sponsored by The Rotary Club of Sleaford.” For more information please click here.
On July 24, 2013, Their Imperial Majesties Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan arrived in Nasushiobara in the Tochigi Prefecture where they visited a strawberry farm.
On Wednesday, July 24, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II arrived at Kensington Palace in London to visit Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and, of course, the new royal baby.
The British network, ITN, reports that Her Majesty “…stayed for 30 minutes before heading back to Buckingham Palace.”
After the meeting, the duke and duchess and their sweet newborn prince left Kensington Palace for Bucklebury.
On July 23, 2013, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II hosted a reception at Buckingham Palace for the winners of the 2013 Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
The Queen’s Award for Enterprise are “…awards for outstanding achievement by UK businesses in the categories of innovation, international trade and sustainable development…” according to various sources.
His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II of Jordan hosted an Iftar banquet at the Royal Court on July 21, 2013, in Amman for “…tribal elders, dignitaries and community representatives of Karak, Rafilah, Ma’an and Aqaba…”
Meanwhile, Her Royal Highness Princess Muna al Hussein hosted her own Iftar banquet this evening for board members of the Jordanian Nursing Council board members, and Jordanian Ministers of Health and Higher Education to name a few guests. The banquet was held at the King Hussein Club in Amman.
