On the evening of October 16, 2013, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco arrived at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel in Monaco to attend the 2013 Golden Foot Award, a “…prestigious international award given to the career of a football player over the age of twenty eight.”
The winner of the 2013 Golden Foot Award went to Mr. Didier Drogba.
Recently, Miss Carina Axelsson — longtime partner of His Serene Highness Prince Gustav of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg — attended the 2013 Frankfurt Book Fair in Germany.
Anyway, on her blog Miss Axelsson finally announced the UK and US release dates for her highly anticipated new novel, Model Under Cover: A Crime Of Fashion.

On October 17, 2013, His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales arrived at the Imperial College in London to officially open the Royal British Legion Centre for Blast Injury Studies.
According to the official website for Imperial College the new center is:
“…the first collaboration of its kind in the United Kingdom, where civilian engineers and scientists work alongside military doctors, supported by charitable funding to reduce the effects of roadside bombs and Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).”

On Thursday, October 17, 2013, His Royal Highness The Duke of Cambridge participated in his first investiture “…on behalf of The Queen…” at Buckingham Palace in London.
According to Kensington Palace, during this afternoon’s special event the duke presented “…Wimbledon champion Andy Murray [with the] Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) medal.”
