On November 14, 2012,Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands attended the 10th anniversary celebrations of the International Criminal Court held at the Ridderzaal in Den Haag.
According to RVD, guests at today’s celebrations included:
“… a large number of dignitaries and legal and diplomatic representatives of states, international organizations, regional organizations and civil society organizations.
The ICC, which is based in Den Haag, was established in 2002 as a permanent court for the prosecution of persons suspected of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. The ICC is an independent organization that is not part of the United Nations…”
A highlight for the Prince of Wales was a visit to Weta Workshop where he had a chance to tour the set as well as meet one of actors from the upcoming Peter Jackson film, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. The Prince of Wales also celebrated his 64th birthday today in Wellington.

On November 13, 2012, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the closing of the 10th Congrès de la Fédération Internationale des Corps et Associations Consulaires (FICAC) held at the Hotel Hermitage in Monaco.
This three-day event, organized by the Consuls Honoraires de Monaco and the Mayor of Monaco:
“… brings together about 200 Honorary Consuls from around the world which allows them an opportunity to exchange ideas and debate on the themes of biodiversity, peace and the world economic crisis.”
On Tuesday, November 13, 2012, Their Majesties King Albert II and Queen Paola of Belgium welcomed Polish President, Mr. Bronislaw Komorowski, and his wife to Palais d’Egmont in Brussels. President Komorowski and his delegation are in Belgium for a two-day official visit.
After the official welcoming ceremony and laying a wreath at the monument of the Unknown Solider, His Majesty and President Komorowski attended a luncheon meeting at Château de Laeken.
