During her tour the queen opened a new building at Exeter University, visited Ninesprings Country Park and the Crewkerne Town Hall in Somerset and much more.

His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain’s son-in-law, Mr. Iñaki Urdangarín the Duke of Palma de Majorca, is allegedly seeking a plea deal with prosecutors regarding his infamous corruption and fraud case.
According to AFP news, the Mr.Urdangarín’s lawyers deny the claim stating, “We have had no contact, formal or informal, with the prosecutor and his learned colleagues in Palma de Majorca in relation to any kind of agreement or deal.”

His Majesty King Albert II of Belgium was at the European Union Commission headquarters in Brussels on May 2, 2012, where he met with the European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso. The king was invited by the president to attend the 2,000 meeting of the European Commission.
Meanwhile in Hoboken, His Royal Highness Prince Philippe of Belgium visited the “… precious metals recycling company…”, Umicore, along with Vice Premier of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Li Keqiang.
On May 1, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh visited Dorset and Wiltshire as part of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations. On April 30, 2012, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands along with Their Royal Highnesses Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje and Princess Maxima of the Netherlands, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands, and other members of the lovely Dutch royal family celebrated Koninginnedag 2012 in the Utrecht province of Rhenen and Veenendaal.
Sadly, His Royal Highness Prince Johan Friso did not attend nor did his wife, Princess Mabel. The prince is still at Wellington Hospital in London where he is in treatment following his accident in Lech, Austria in February 2012.

On Sunday, April 29, 2012, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco enjoyed his leisurely day off by participating in a “charity bicycle race” to raise money for the Princesse Charlene de Monaco Fondation.
The sovereign prince along with “…thirty high-profile racers cycled from St.Tropez to the principality…” At this time it is unknown how much money was raised for the Princess Charlene’s personal foundation which helps disadvantaged youths around the world.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was at Windsor Castle on Sunday, April 29, 2012, where she met “600 youngsters from the the Annual Scouting Review” and faux Survivalist, Bear Grylls.
