His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje Participates in a Conference in Den Haag.

drfcoa His Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje was in Den Haag this morning to participate in the international conference WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) Post-2012, organized by the World Health Organization and UNICEF.

According to RVD, the prince was invited to participate in today’s event in his “… capacity as Chairman of UNSGAB, the Advisory Board on Water and Sanitation of the Secretary-General of the United Nations.”

The WASH Post-2012 conference focuses on:

“… the period after 2015 and attempts by some 80 experts from international organizations to come to the setting of new targets after 2015 and indicators to monitor progress with regards to clean drinking and water sanitation.”

His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales visited St Asaph, Wales on Monday, December 3, 2012.  The area was affected by devastating floods recently and the Prince of Wales was, keen to thank emergency services and lend his support to some of the residents affected. The prince decided to visit St Asaph because the city has been particularly badly hit by the flooding, with over 180 homes in St Asaph affected…” according to Clarence House.

THE DUKE AND DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE ARE EXPECTING A BABY

Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby.

The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news.

The Duchess was admitted this afternoon to King Edward VII Hospital in Central London with Hyperemesis Gravidarum. As the pregnancy is in its very early stages, Her Royal Highness is expected to stay in hospital for several days and will require a period of rest thereafter.

Hyperemesis Gravidarum is very acute morning sickness, which requires supplementary hydration and nutrients.
